Bought one other day, one of the camera doesn't work...newegg wants me to send whole unit back which is fine, but I have it configured and it isn't worth sending back. KGuard wants me to send them the camera back at my cost...you get what you pay for
^ OK but if it costs $10 to ship the camera, where would you get same thing with better customer service for $160?
You might contact Newegg and tell them that the whole unit is installed so you are asking them if you can buy a second one, then swap one of the cameras from it then send it back to them for a refund. Since you'd be putting another charge on the credit card there isn't any risk to them to do this and they were otherwise just going to send you another one anyway once they had received the first one RMA'd.
OR, just get it in writing that Newegg agrees to give you a refund instead of a replacement, then buy the second one and swap the camera without telling them about it... but aren't you still on the hook for the RMA postage to Newegg or did they already agree to cover that cost, and/or you used Shoprunner so they cover it?
