I remember paying like $30 for one of these years ago for the Cables2Go adapter that I still use. Serial to USB is such a niche product at this point, only Router and Switch guys are using them.
i was still using one of these a few years ago. i had script that watched caller id output from a modem did a pickup/hangup on telemarketers. I found that my obihai device could do the same before the phone even rings.
