      hmmm, doesn't appear to be available any more, but i bought this on 4/1 (same price, same model based on specs, but different color) and it arrived in excellent condition. i couldn't even tell it wasn't brand new except for the "refurbished" sticker on its underside.

      the hardware is nice for the price, though i wish it had gigabit ethernet (for large file transfers, backups, etc), but the wireless is fine for day-to-day. i can't tell you anything about the installed software as i immediately imaged the drive and installed linux on it.
