I've got a couple of Len. t/pads and except for the "coma" problem in 1 of them I think they are better than most other refurbs avail. However, these are not worth > $100-120. If they are not beat up.
My first and current laptop (on which I'm typing this comment right now) is a Lenovo T410 upgraded with 8GB memory by an refurbisher with Win7Pro64. I've had it for over a year; it has 1280x800 resolution (NVIDIA NVS 3100M@60Hz graphics); and it cost me $220 including shipping & the upgraded RAM. Because the screen is never more than a couple of feet from my eyeballs and I don't play games or run powerfully video-intensive programs on it, it is PERFECT for my needs.
My laptop was a business-lease return at some point, too, I'm sure... but they are "refurbished" because they're closely inspected for any defects which are then repaired or replaced as needed. There are many of us "out there" who only use a computer (laptop or desktop) for internet browsing & entertainment and word processing. Therefore, for us, these laptops are ideal.
i tried 3 hp's from last year. yes the are corp lease returns but my exp was that none of them worked. they came with a really bad image and, as i expected them to work i did not reimage. 2 were returned because they would not complete the image load, the third worked initially but was plagued by bsod and random shut downs after i gave it to my godson. i will never buy another leased laptop from .

Must-er-pass on this deal.
How do you know that they are not refurbished?
Thank you!
