Does something this small and inexpensive really work well for the long term or is it better to stick with an Omron cuff style?

#2 go with the Omron cuff style if you want more accurate results. I have one. Works great. Got a good price at Sams. FYI CoQ10 supplements make a big blood pressure difference for me.

^Cuff style is the way to go. Just follow directions to keep your arm at the proper level & still. Take whichever U get to a dr.'s office for a test comparison, tho. If not accurate, return it and try another brand.
