I own one and if this has the updated 2008/2009 maps, it would be worth it. Otherwise, there's bound to be better deals thru christmas.

Most likely has the 2006 map. Good GPS with text to speech. Add $30 and get the Magellan 4250 at Amazon.com with has the 2007 map and is thinner than this one.
