At least this was a one hour and not a one minute deal...
But as I predicted before there should be many of these type devices with the older Apple connectors that should be dumped to make room for the new lightning connections.
Maybe the Chinese are holding them back in a warehouse to keep the prices high just the thwart your prediction...
