At this price, I could replace the whole thing instead of just the hose ($75). One reviewer whined that you couldn't vacuum up toner. You have to have a special filter for toner, if that's what you want to do.
Toner vacs are much more expensive. If that whiner is in the printer business, it should be no problem. Otherwise, alcohol pads for the rest of us.
I've had my eye on metro, but not sure this is the one I wanted. I believe I was looking at the vacuum/blower model.
Edit: Checked and it is a blower, but the hoses do not attach and can blow off -as per one reviewer. Nothing that couldn't be handled by some ghetto dogs.. :twisted: :idea: 8)
Also, this unit does get hot. I recall reading all about that several times.
With most (inexpensive) plastic vacs if you want good lifespan you only run it a few minutes at a time before letting it cool down so heat doesn't build up much.
