This looks very suspicious. This seller also has a few $30 IPS panel tablets and a 256 gb flash drive for $10...
Yup. All of the prior auctions are private and you can't tell what was sold.
I have the MK802 1GB like this one. Using it on my 55" TV. Works great, just a bit slow at times. Using a Logitech K400 keyboard plus touchpad. Using a mouse is more intuitive for touch-and-drag movements but otherwise works OK. I pulled the trigger on this for the remote to check it out.
How do you define slow? Is it frame stutter? Mouse movements are slow? Takes a while to open files? I'm just wondering, as it seems to be an interesting unit, but if it stutters during videos, I'll pass.
All prior auctions feedback reference 'Beads" so I smell hokum
And fylbert, there's nothing worse than Dong hokum !!
..... or so I've heard. Poster @#7 has more personal knowledge about that than I do.
i had 2 in my cart about to finalize my ourchase then read reviews. latest one says scam. and they have decent ratings because they sold like 400 beads sets for a buck a piece.
If you can't trust the eBay buyer protection program, then who can you trust?
I jumped. $18 not bad a risk for me, plus I just kill it through my CC if paypal is stupid.
i think we all got con. how can they sell a tablet for 30 dollar.
there goes 18 dollar .... from my wallet ....
I have not experienced much stutter when playing Netflix or Youtube HD. It is wireless so there is always the issue of some latency once in a while. There are anywhere from 2 to 7 wireless devices active in my house at any one time. I only have 802.11g in my house yet this device runs OK. Some of the apps are a bit slow to respond or change screens but it is not a big deal to me. I paid $40 last year for this and have been happy with it. With all of the hate towards this seller you can probably find a decent deal from someone more reputable. Or spend more for the MK808 or other dual-core Android device. I am keeping a look out for one of those to show up in a good deal.
I bought a stick and decided to buy one of those tablets too. Why not right? PayPal and eBay Buyer's Protection should keep me safe and it's not a big investment either way. Hopefully it's a good deal.
smell fishy....
I know it's only $18 but when thing sound too good to be true especially from you know from where. They sold over 2,000 of this thing I wouldn't called it a scam. Like any other china brand products for super low price with high power equipped components, be very careful!!!!!. This thing wireless will not connect at N speed for sure and power 1ghz vortex chip? really?.
Definitely a scam
Delivery Estimated between Mon. Feb. 4 and Thu. Feb. 21
No way shipping from China takes over 30 days.
So, seller will reply "do not open a paypal claim until Feb 21", after that you have only a week to open a claim.
Just interesting, how many of the 2000+ loosers will miss the claim timeframe.
After 45days neither eBay nor Paypal are responsible for your loss which becomes a pure profit for the seller.
Just look at the product description. "we hope you can receive your item..." Wouldn't that free them from you not receiving the product? $18 might be doable out there with volume. The $30 tablet? You can't even buy a 10" digital frame for $30!
@gfx i placed a claim on a seller from Europe on the 43rd day (busy and almost forgot), anyway got my claim in and still got money back two weeks later. I certain it's when you file the claim.
Actually I find it likely that shipping from China would take over 30 days, a lot of the stuff I've bought from Dealextreme took that long at this time of year since the Chinese New Year is coming up which delays orders roughly a week longer than usual.
I know it *shouldn't* take that long but it does, I'd just assumed they did some kind of order accumulation to make a bulk purchase from the manufacturer to get a lower price, or that they sit on the money to make a small interest profit off of it.
I'm not vouching for their credibility though, the prices look too good to be true to me too.
ANYONE TEXT THEM ? OR SHOULD WE START THE CLAIM PROCESS ?
it's show shipped but 0 tracking number ....
