Why not combine it with an HP 385 printer? You get it for free after rebate, if you buy it with a 4MP camera. You pay $180 at checkout, and get $100 back later in the mail. Result: Both the printer and the camera for $80 (and since you're over $100, you qualify for the free shipping!)

Also at Ritz, the much superior Canon A430 is only $30 more ($129, or $109 w/Google Checkout). The A430 has 4x zoom, better quality pictures, video with sound, and is faster in start-up and focusing.

hmmmm, sounds like a solid deal, how do the new nikon coolpix stack up against the kodak easyshare, or other similarly priced models in terms of durability?

my mom has this and uses it constantly .... she just tucks it away in her purse and carries it with her all the time. She is tech challenged too and manages to use this with no problems.

I agree with #2, the Canon A430 would be a much better buy because of the picture quality. And at $109, it wouldn't be too big of a difference in price.

You may want to check out Steve's Digicams at

I'm a big Nikon fan, but went with a Canon because Steve's sample pictures that he takes with the cameras he reviews show a noticable quality difference between similarly priced Nikon and Canon cameras.

I bought the L3 in April and one of the nicest things about these cameras is there size. They take really nice pictures and fit right into your pocket. The downfall to this one is that it doesn't have sound with the video clip which I recommend.
