For $29? Really? They ( the Moto e) are running $119.99 on Amazon. Where did you find one for this price? Doh! Question Twisted Evil

      Its a secret.

      Tip: the search bar helps.

Tip 2: enter Lumia 520 on the search bar

Tip 3: press enter or select "go" with your mouse.

I had used this phone as a primary phone for 8 months, just upgraded to a faster Nokia...I personally like the Windows phone OS...its not for everyone, but neither is Android or iOS...these phones run pretty good considering the cost...its a great way to just "try" windows phone too...btw, offline maps powered by Nokia, so can make a good GPS without needing data or SIM card

So you found a moto e by typing Lumia 520? You are doomed!

Yup. My kid has one of these (the T-Mobile version) and it's great. The battery lasts forever, it has enough games and such to keep her happy, it's sturdy enough to live in her backpack, and it cost me $50.

My first cell phone cost like $500, only made phone calls, only lasted a few hours on battery, and broke within a month.

I messed around with a Win phone. It's not terrible, It would be a good alternative for me, if Android didn't already exist. However, I can see how MS-centric users might find it attractive.

It's nice to see that MS is getting to the point where they can actually write an OS that is not bloated beyond all hope of running efficiently. Even Win8.1 is showing hope. I recently got one of those new tiny x86 Win tablets with 1GB RAM and it's actually pretty useful and usable.

Good choice for kids. Essentially disposable at this price. Can use on Go plans (prepaid) or post-paid traditional plans with SIM swap.

Also, Candy Crush just got released on Windows Phones, this phone should be able to play it.

If Candy Crush is a factor in picking a piece of high-tech, humanity is doomed.

I picked one up... What the heck I'll try it and see how it does.

      Edit:
I'm old skool... I miss the Razr. I kind of been holding out for perhaps a good deal on a MotoG (unlocked), but the price for this was just to compelling. Sure not stoutest phone, but just need a nice phone/text/camera device. I don't plan on data usage/apps as that isn’t me, (wife's has family plan data so I've got that). I was surprise how clear the calls/phone is, I thought that might be an issue but it's not. Camera it is huge improvement over the last, and good for things I do. So far I say you can't go wrong.

Got the Moto e from Walmart for $10. Nice little phone, but adding memory card is a must and I think it's 3G only.

I guess if you're a loner and don't have to worry about appearances and/or looking cool, then this may be a good substitute for any of the Apple offerings.

I think humanity is under greater threats than from the idea of entertainment being a main criteria in smart phone selection. Some people use smart phones for personal communications and games. Some use them for productivity and other professional uses. Given that, each person will emphasize features as they apply to their own personal use cases. IOW, not everyone is like you.

I've only seen 2 types of iPhones: Sleek slim phones with shattered glass or encased in huge ugly plastic guards, neither look "cool" to me, but to each his own.
