    That has honestly go to be the best viral video I have ever seen! Don't know that it convinces me to buy into their plan in the slightest, but I have watched it 6 times already!

    @dave_c S/H is inclusive.

    But overall a dumbest business idea I have ever seen. I buy a $4.99 razor with 5 disposable razors from any big box store and each razor last at least 2 months, so one pack would last almost an year. That is $5 spent on your shaves for 1 year, so why shall I give him $6/moth that is $72/year.

    What a dumb idea.

    ^ shipping might be inclusive for this deal but I found that it's otherwise $2.

    $3 /mo. is a reasonably good price. I have wondered why cartridges cost so much when an entire disposable costs less, but I could never get 2 months (~ 60 shaves) out of a razor even though I do shake and wipe the blade dry so the edge won't rust away. 10 shaves maybe, but by then it starts to get painful and/or take longer for an inferior shave.

    The other question is if you're willing to buy generics, how much do generics cost elsewhere. IIRC you can get a little lower price from Dealextreme.com et al. but then you're waiting a few weeks for them to ship from Hong Kong.

    This company uses razors by Dorco USA. It's cheaper to buy the razors direct from Dorco (google for them, I don't feel like dealing with a stupid URL-neutering f!lter). I got a 6 blade system with ~26 cartridges for about $25. I estimate that I am able to get about 10 shaves/cartridge. I might shave, on average, maybe 3 times a week so this should last me a year. I used to use the Gillette 5-blade razors. The Dorco razors seem to "grab" more but I think it's because the 6 blades grab more hair. It required a similar adjustment in the stroke to when you're going from 2 blade system to 3 or 4 blade. I still get a great smooth shave and am never paying for expensive retail Gillette shavers again.

    Merkur safety razor, $29:

    100-pack of Derby double edged blades, $8:
    http://www.amazon.com/dp/B004SGKMA0/

    Each blade will last you probably 10 shaves, depending on your beard and such I suppose. I just swap them every week because I shave every day and get a nasty neck rash if I have a dull blade. Still, that's two years of shaves for $8, and it's a far better shave than any cartridge system.

    @ts - a razor "grabbing" is because the blade is snagging on the hair (and maybe pulling it out) rather than slicing through it. If your razor is sharp and all that, it shouldn't grab or pull in the slightest.

    If you are into Gillete 12x mega vibrating xTreme "man" razor then you should probably look elsewhere...

    Speaking as an actual customer, and not a bacontroll, DSC has been great. The customer service is phenomenal, and the prices are great especially for the double bladed razors. $3/mo is extremely reasonable for the sharp blades that they send. I only shave once or maybe twice a week and use a new razor about every time. I even have a backlog of unused blades. Been using it for several months now.
