YMMV (Your Mileage May Vary). drugstore.com has the Oral-B Professional Care SmartSeries 4000 Rechargeable Toothbrush for $30 with free shipping. Plus, you may be able to use an additional $20 rebate [Exp 6/30] (YMMV) to reach $10 with free shipping. Also receive a $50 Restaurant.com gift code when you check the special offer. Even without rebate, this is the best price I've ever seen for this toothbrush. Follow the instructions below to get the sale price:

1. Clear cookies or use another/private browser.
2. Go to http://www.drugstore.com/visa-partnership/qxc136613
3. Click the orange "Shop Now" button on left, towards bottom.
4. Search for "Oral B 4000" in search bar.
5. Click on item, check both coupons, add to cart.
6. Enter zip code in cart and click on "get estimate."
7. Check out with a new account, do not log in.
8. Attempt to use the $20 rebate [Exp 6/30]

A good offer but don't count on the rebate as the rebate terms and conditions specify: Offer cannot be combined with any other offer, including coupons. Which means when they see a price significantly below the retail they will probably deny the rebate.

Not seeing this happen. The best I can do is checkout at $89. The coupon for $50 off is only for the Oral B 5000 which is $159. The coupon for the Oral B 4000 is $25, which is consistent with the $124.99 price - $25.00 getting me to $99.99 in the cart before the $10 off.

Currently back ordered and now I see it says out of stock. In any case the receipt says:
This shipment includes the following items:
    1 Oral-B Professional Care SmartSeries 4000, Power Toothbrush - 1 ea $39.99

    Subtotal: $39.99
    Standard Shipping: FREE
    Estimated Tax: $0.00
    Discount: -$10.00
    Total: $29.99
    Total Savings: $85.00

So if you don't take the $10 discount, perhaps the rebate might work. Or maybe we will get lucky and it will work anyway.

    1. twice I have ordered good deals from drugstore .com and had the order cancelled later by them maybe because it was TOO cheap? Click generator? Email address fishing?
    2. bought this same toothbrush on Amz and the rebate card expired in 9 wks . it was expired before I noticed.

Happened to me also , I hate drugstore.com, their inflated prices and lame deals.

I have one of these and like it a lot. Have had several powered tooth brushes over the years and this has been the best I have experienced. I would have picked up another one even at $30 as a spare since this is a great deal. My only complaint is it uses an induction charging system that is really slow but probably good for the battery and low charge warning very short. You notice it loosing steam before it warns you and then your lucky to finish... Still a great tooth brush.

^ Slow charging is a mixed bag. On the one hand, if you contrast it with a faster *dumb* charger that never shuts off, or runs on a timer regardless of how much charge the batteries need, then the slower the charging the less it would overcharge.

On the other hand, if a device charges at a C/3 rate (takes 3 hours or less to charge) then the cell will have a fairly reliable Delta -V voltage drop towards the end of the cycle so a smart charging circuit can shut charging off when the cell is near a full charge level.

IMO, as important is whether a device takes a standard, commonly available battery but most don't. This seems to take 1 (solder) tabbed 4/5 A NiMH cell which isn't impossible to find online but you will have to wait for delivery and solder it in.
