Uses FOUR carbon-zinc (not rechargeable, and for some strange reason alkaline is NOT recommended) AAA cells. Probably provides at least 30 minutes of 80 lumen light.

A candle might be better.

Thanks for pointing that out. I can't stand small flashlights that take a bunch of AAAs.

For me that is too much effort for too small of a gain. But this takes it to the next level, needing 4 non-alkaline AAAs.

If it were one small bright light, requiring one AA I'd consider it.
