Not sure about this model but I had the DMC-TS20 and the first time I took it into the water the screen started acting up. I would clear up after a few days and then happen again. It was a lot of hassle to get Panasonic to replace the camera since it was purchased about a year ago and I was in Mexico when it happened, so by the time I got back to the States it had been 1 year and 33 days from the purchase date until the date they received it at their repair facility. It had only been 1 year and 16 days from the date I received it from Panasonic Direct and the date I reported the failure.
It took the intervention of the BBB New Jersey (Panasonic US HQ) to get them to replace it.
