Similar ones from HD by Halo I've put in are easy to pop into an existing can with incandescent bulb fitting. Need an adapter, which usually comes with.

These are LED which lasts roughly 50k hours vs 10k hours (CFL).. which means they last 5x longer..
They're also more eco-friendly, which means they go about 10 watts per bulb vs 14 on CFL..

In this particular case, these also come with the baffle, which is the finishing surround around the light fixture.. this by itself is a few bucks and doesnt look nearly as clean with this.. especially with a CFL curlyQ in there..

also there's no slight delay usually when turning these on vs the CFL which may have to get up to temp.

So, not worth it at all for 20X a CFL. NWIH is this > a 60W + which my 13 W CFL which puts out a real 75W = unless U figure your fixture is hard to get to for replacements and U use it 'nuf to justify the extra life, but all LEDs will get dim with use. As far as eco-friendly that is a ?

cfl requires far more material and resources to produce than led
    s. Led's are also cheaper to run and have a greater life expectancy.
