From your own description this is a 3-way speaker, not a 2-way.
Technically, these are 2-way speakers as the two "performance tuned front-firing sub bass radiators" are not active, functioning components of this T50 speaker. One of the semi-common complaint in the reviews is the lack of bass punch from these speakers. One of the reviewers actually disassembled one of these speakers and discovered that the "bass radiators" are in fact empty...that is, they have no wiring, no magnets, and therefore produce no sound (the review is dated 10/2/16).
Despite the 91% 4- and 5-star reviews, potential buyers should be aware that this particular Polk product is not what you may think it is. It's possible if all of the purchasers knew this, the reviews may not be as positive as they seem to be.
However, the bottom line is always how a set of speakers sound to your own ears. If 91% of these purchasers enjoy the sound that these speakers produce, then who's to say that Polk Audio is actually producing a sub-standard speaker...that is, one that has no true bass sound reproduction?
The description says they are bass radiators (passive radiators) not speakers. This is commonly used instead ports to avoid the air noise. Folks should not be surprised they are getting a two way speaker for 75
