I'm in. I can sell my 6870s and go back to a single card and not be out any money.

I keep telling myself I'll never do multiple GPUs again, but I keep thinking "it'll be different this time" and do it anyway.

Powercolor quality is iffy so I wouldn't buy it until XFX or Diamond sells for similar price.

#1 - Yea, Dual card seem to me to have declined in favor for many reasons:
Cards come so fast and prices fall so quickly it leaves no time, before you in the dilemma you state. The next, you have to know/hope the games you play respond to dual cards and which brand favors what titles. Power consumption of two card like you have are quickly overshadowed by the next generation parts. Theres probably more...

Though in my predicament it can be useful, twin teens... I got them both on 6850s right now and theyre fine (although right now they play a lot of Minecraft OMG!) at some point I probably CF those and stretch out a little more life. At this point I think Ill hold out to see what next gen Sea Island offers. Heck without researching I dont know what 6850 in CF equal in a the 7XXX series but Id think betters the 7870?

#2 - both of my 6850's are P-C and they're flawless and ruuning both at 890Mhz... My only recent issue with AIB has been with XFX, and honestly lots of Eggviews of XFX card aren't the best.
