    Only works if you have Sprint WiMax service (clear.com). In my area (Sacramento), there is pretty limited WiMax coverage, and service is spotty.

    Yeah, After further investigation I discovered the same applies to my area and their LTE phones cost a lot more.

    the voice minutes are over WiMax
    you can expect some noise and static and a 2 to 3 seconds delay
    On the other end they honored their return policy and took the phone back, gave me a refund for $99 (I had paid $107). Shipping it back was at my expense.
    Unless WiMax is good in your area do not bother.
