#4, It's hard to say. This thing just stores a whole bunch of zeroes and ones.

Yes they'll be relevant in 5 years. I have a bunch over 5 years old I use to boot DOS or Acronis Trueimage, a Windows PE environment, a password hack tool, and other various utilities like memtest86+.

32GB is great for this as you can format FAT32 to 32GB in windows but not 64GB (which needs exFAT). Staying at 32GB with FAT32 you maximize your odds of any random system being able to boot from it.

Then again, you can bit flip "some" of the larger ones so it is seen as a fixed disk instead of a removable device, which would allow you to partition it to 32GB or less for FAT32 then leaving the rest for some other use, or there is some kind of driver hack that will also allow partitioning but I forget the details. Google knows.

Glad I bought one yesterday, out of stock now. Most of my computers don't even have USB 3.0, so doesn't make any difference for me. Nice deal.

Who doesn't use flash drives? Perfect for transferring data between computers, creating bootable image files, expandable storage for laptops and some tables and can be used in cars to play music. I have a 32 GB micro flash drive in my car that has 20 GB's of music on it. It's great.
