The page says $179 when I land on it. Is there something that needs to be done in order to bring the price down to $150?
Yes. You have to get there quicker before before Amazon jacks the price back up. They evidently think that once they get BB et. al., to post the "deal", if they jack up the price 30 nsec. later, once they have your attention with the alleged deal price, you'll go ahead and buy it anyway at the higher price.
It must work with some people because they keep doing it. Personally, it has made me so skeptical of Amazon that I rarely bother to even look anymore.
