Buy.com has the SanDisk Ultra SDSSDH-240G-G25 2.5" 240GB SATA II SSD for $130 + $0 shipping = $130 shipped. Features up to 280 MB/s read rate, up to 270 MB/s write rate, and 1500G max shock resistance.
Reliable products from sandisk. I have had 3 of their ssd's running since they first came out without fail. May not be the fastest ones out there but certainly have been reliable.
Can't really comment on this one, but I have two of the Sandisk SDSSDX-240bacon25 drives and they work fantastic...very reliable and very fast. They seem to have higher reviews than the SDSSDH model. Buy.com had them on sale as well for $140 recently (bought a third one then, still waiting for it to arrive), but now they're up to $183.

Bunch of failures (Newegg) after 8 months.

I also put in the original Sandisks, but I've heard nothing but bad since they moved to the thinner chips.
You'd think if anyone in the world could make a reliable SSD, it would be these guys. I'd love to see failure mode analysis of the hosed ones.
#5, you are #23 on the Ben's Bargain users list. That makes you a senior ghetto dog...
