In for one. Can't resist this bang for buck, 2 generations old tech be damned. Maybe now I can play CoH2. LOL.

IDK it's not worst being no rebate, figure mostly just under a 7850 today, downside its double the watts! A 7850 will pull 100W under gaming while this 6970 is like 200W.

I'd rather pay a the extra for this MSI R7850-2GD5/OC 7850 2GB at $110 though a $20 rebate it is a better place in regards to performance, watts/PSU and heat, while you get 2 free games from the SILVER Rewards.

FWIW Tiger Direct cancelled my order, claiming it as a listing mistake. Which really sucks, but it's TD so you keep your expectations low.

Ah how I love you TD. My order actually got shipped, but they sent a Delivery Intercept to UPS and re-routed it back to them. Here's the wording from the e-mail I got:
In regard to your recent order x, for the Sapphire 100311-3L Radeon HD 6970 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card , we regret to inform you that this product was inadvertently advertised on our Buy.com storefront. What you have ordered is not what you would have received. The listing was intended for a completely different video card" "

Anybody on here actually believe that I would not have received an HD 6970?

I did receive a package for my order today, but it wasn't the 6970 as advertised, but a lousy R7 240 card which lists for $69. Should have known not to deal with TD.
