Never had any problem with TD rebates (or any other rebates). Ordered one drive yesterday, already shipped. $70 AR is OK price, even without rebate $90 is lowest of what you can find for 3TB non-green drive.

No matter--do a little Googling and reveal the dirty little secret about this headache of a drive. I had two and they both failed after about a year. Got a warranty replacement but left it in the box.

Never had a problem with TD until now. The $0.52 plastic ruler I purchased as an add-on came broken. Hope it's not a sign of things to come with the HD.

But I never had a problem with the TD rebates.
