    Although this is 11" diagonally, it really is more like 9" due to the widescreen. I don't like stretched pictures (distorted faces), so I have this set to keep the aspect ratio. This causes black bars on both sides with almost all standard photo sizes. So at best I'd call this a 9" frame. Overall I was pretty disappointed to see how small the picture ended up being

    Actually, it is not too bad with 800 by 600 because there are many cameras using 4:3 ratio. I have several smartparts photo frames, they work fine and the image quality is good.

    #3, i have a westinghouse version that i am supposed to get to work. can you get yours to read directly from a USB thumbdrive?

    From the specs at Ritz it says this frame 800x480, 16:9 and NOT 800x600. I'm looking for a good 4:3 frame.

    i found the menu that allowed reading from a thumbdrive, but it was at USB 1.1 speed, s-l-o-w. i'll find an old memory card and use that instead.
