Anyone know why TVs 26" to 32" are being sold only in 720p nowadays? It can't be that manufacturers think the viewer can't tell the difference because of the smaller screen size. If that were true, there wouldn't be plenty of 22" and 24" 1080p TVs available. I'm looking to get a 27" 1080p TV for an arcade machine I'm building but it seem no stores sell these anymore. Doing a search on Amazon shows a couple models available but you'd think there would be an abundance. 720p seems like old technology to me.
