American made is just as bad... look at all the US made cars... I would buy japanese but thinking back to Pearl Harbor and the Japan China war, makes me think twice about the JAPS. Now they want to claim an island off the coast of China... maybe just go with candles.

^^ heh, I dragged out a different kbd and looked up what Honda recommends for generators. Model GX200 is 6.5HP sells for about $350 and up by itself, or the cheapest Honda brand 3000W generator on their site has a MSRP of $1530... and that's for a gas generator not propane so the cost goes up a bit more for the conversion kit though it's actually selling ready to go for a little under $900.
