As I understand it, the Hobbit is about an hour long, so they broke it into 3 pieces and stretched each piece to an hour long.
They stretched each piece to *three* hours. Still a good flick though.
Yeah, I had my doubts about a small kid's book going 9 hours in length. But I was proven wrong. My only complaint was that the dwarves just looked like short people.
Loved it. The music score didn't get enough attention in my opinion.
The Dwarves were just short people. The Hobbits were just shorter people. They weren't supposed to be the little people our society has.
