I do not support intellectual property rights. It should only be a matter of hours until this film becomes available free of charge thanks to others willing to share it. Then we can watch it and choose to pay for at our own discretion.
Now that there is media coverage and interest in what could turn out to be a mediocre movie - create controversy and watch the money come in. Nice move. Is this worth $5.99 - I will wait and watch

Exactly. Report after report has stated the attack was on Sony, and had NOTHING to do with this movie. The media made the assumption it was based on the movie and ran with it.

I'd rather not laud hackers and pay Google to see the movie which is likely at least moderately funny.
It was a test along with all the other prior attacking tests.
