      Good advice. Just bought one.
Quad core and graphics aren't amazing - but efficient and a bargain...

6GB of RAM ???. Why don't they just reduces it to 4GB and buff up the processor speed.

It doesn't look like it will handle any games, even Minecraft may bring it to its knees. Being just a work computer it is good for sitting at a desk but at 17.3" I don't suspect anyone would consider this for a laptop to bring to classes.

Who exactly is this laptop made for?

How about people who travel for work, set this up in a hotel and do work or email? Or someone who has to go offsite for work and deliver presentations? They just need an inexpensive laptop that can run outlook, word, and PowerPoint. Already have something like this, but looks like a good deal for what it is.

Put simply it's a lot of laptop for $300. It would handle the 90% most popular things people do anyway... Facebook, youtube, email, office, etc. A lot of people are using something a few years old that's slower than this. Want more, pay more.

At only 1600x900 it might handle minecraft ok, Radeon 8330 isn't a powerhouse but can probably manage around 40FPS... do you really need 60 FPS in minecraft?

Toshiba = Bad news. I got a toshiba from BB and it had a bad battery, switched out with another one, same issue. Got a different toshiba model same issue. That's when I asked customer service if I can pay more to get a different brand. Never again Toshiba.

^ I'd imagine the supplier they got the bad batch(es) of batteries from makes them for multiple laptop manufacturers... aren't there only 3 or 4 battery suppliers all the big OEMs use?
