Or if your watch is water resistant to more than a few feet, you can put 1/4 cup of vinegar, and a tablespoon of baking soda in a coffee cup on top of your watch. Leave it for ten minutes then rinse with water and wipe dry with a soft clothe.
i put the cup full of stuff on top of my watch - how do you keep the cup from tipping over?

What I usually do is just put a squirt of dish detergent on a tooth brush and have at it (or murphy's oil soap if it has a leather band), then dry with any random towel. Then again, I don't own any obscenely expensive watches.
