    Yeah and they're typically 3-4x as fast in sequential I/O and 100x faster in random I/O. Nobody's buying velocirappers anymore, nice try.

    They need to drop the price to about $25 if they want some interest in these. Which will probably happen eventually.

    SSD all the way.
    Why you would even buy spinners for a PC still is just plain stupid if your looking for speed.

    Take your RAID 0 and a SSD would kill that
    Not to mention last 10x longer
