Just was looking at these but didn't like the side shelves don't fold, plastic casters and didn't like the 3-burners layout. This is the lower end model with the Stainless steel rod cooking grate while the one Amazon version says it has Porcelain-enamel cast iron cooking grates but the picture don’t look cast and it’s $315.

I went with the Dyna-Glo Smart Space Living 30,000 for $260 at Amazon.

Like that the sides fold down (metal), real metal casters, the looped-Burners, double-wall stainless steel lid assembly, cast aluminum end caps (Weber I believe are Porcelain-enamel steel), etc. Much more sturdy heavy gauge construction; I stopped at Lowes that has the same a Dyna-Glo's a 3-Burner for $290 (notice they don’t tell you BTU’s on that), while the 2-burner is $300. The 3-Burner they were again single straight pipes, but the solid build sold me over the Weber. The one thing I thought of on those big looped burners might be a pain to get replacements if they need to be say after 6-8 years, but honesty they’re super quality Stainless. It also includes a premium grill cover that’s $25-30 right there.

I bought this grill 2 years ago and love it. Weber bought Ducane so you are getting Weber quality and customer service at a fraction of the cost. I bought mine for $299 so this is a good deal.

I have an old Weber and custom ordered heavy duty solid rod steel (304) grates to fit, but they take a lot of heat to get up to speed, and meat sticks to them more than I like. I placed a set of aluminum GrillGrates over them, and they work way better. Porcelain-enamel CI grates will also work great, but typically will crack out and rust inside. Bare CI is ideal, but calls for an amount of maintenance, esp. with the seasoning burning off in areas due to a grill's hot spots.

I BBQ more than I grill, so the SS/AL combo works fine...durable forever and no maintenance (maybe twice a decade).

Yeah, Weber grills are the best. Mine's an old Genesis Silver C. Heavy duty construction (still got plastic casters, tho') and porcelain hood still looks brand new.
