I use a paper lunch bag, add 1/3 cup of pop corn, fold it shut, and in the microwave for 1:50. Spray it with butter flavored cooking oil and salt. You can use the $20 you saved on popcorn...

I make popcorn for my family in large batches (2-3) for my family. I'm really glad to have a popper like this. My first model only lasted a few years before the plastic gears fell off. My next one had metal gears and has lasted much longer. This one appears to have plastic gears. YMMV.

I use a 4-5 qt. pot w/lid. 3 tbsp. of canola or corn oil + 1/3 or 1/2 cup of popping corn and shake. Easy clean up. But, get the oil real hot (just before it starts to smoke) before QUICKLY adding corn and putting on the lid.
