Go on line. Read a LOT about these and similar washers before parting with your money. If you have one of the "old style" top loaders, KEEP IT. They are usually very easily repaired and I think MUCH better than any of the new "HE" models. I kept my old one going for 52 years.
Yeah, repair an old washer instead of buying new. Power and water aren't that expensive in the US. An old washer that you repair, has a good chance of outlasting a new replacement, especially if it has mechanical controls instead of electronic circuits board(s) which often fail in less than 10 years.
