Winter Game Sale at Steam

Ends 1/2/2017 at 10AM PT. Steam has kicked off its awesome annual Winter Sale with game deals up to 75% off. Like last year, they've discarded the daily deals and flash sales. What that means is the sale price is the same for the duration of the Winter Sale.

They have heavy discounts on newer games like Grand Theft Auto V ($30) and Fallout 4 ($20!), popular indie games like Rocket League ($12), and even older games like Borderlands 2 (the best $4.99 you'll ever spend).

Still waiting on the discount deals on Steam Wallet Cards that usually accompany seasonal sales.

I'll be sure to check it out. A long time customer and fan. There are some bad apples on Steam, but as a whole I've had a blast gaming on this platform. Still do.

Bought Doom2 since it was so cheap but it doesn't run on my machine. Stuck at title screen. :-(

Happened to me w GTAV

Same thing happened to me the first time I downloaded Skyrim. In my experience, that takes care of like 75% of game issue from Steam. The community pages take care of another 24%.

I'd care more about Steam if it were truly cross-platform. 99% of the games are Win/Mac only. I kicked those anti-consumer extortion rackets to the curb over 10 years ago and now run Linux.
