Not interested in an X1, but I really do not like the bundle strategy. Clearly, the systems are limited stock so this is a way for the stores to sell more items. Want an X1? We have one but you need to buy extras in order to get it.

I agree. This is only a mild upgrade to the 360. So sad to see MS use technology thats over a year old to power this thing. I guess since Nintendo cleaned their clock with the Wii a few years back they didn't want to risk another blood bath. AMD processors??? AMD is on its last leg as they have lost all hope of competing with Intel. But yes, SONY and MS both choose these old processors that are half as fast as the core i7's. Yes they also ignored NVIDIA and their better GPU's. What does that say about their true intent?

Huh. Lots of money but I haven't seen a better deal on a bundle yet.

Line at the Microsoft store was so long, and this is what almost every one in line wanted.

Think I'll wait, will be 1/2 prices sooner than we all think.

I'll wait 'til the beta-test-monkeys do their job with these launch units before I even think about getting one (especially with last gen's RROD problems). Even after they've sorted out the problems, I'd be buying a PS4 first instead of this.

My last $540 for XBOX 360 first release with 1 controller PROD after 1.5 yrs. Call MS they said SOL but quickly change their story after huge complaints. I wonder what it will be this time?.

mbishop, nvidia turned down msft and sony from all the reports i read following the developing of the next gen which left amd. Anyway that being said i have a new xbox 1 and I like it, except the release day games are just ok. Had I to do over I woulda just waited a year not for a price decrease but for better games. The 360 and PS3 have so many good games that are now are down right cheap, like Gears of War, Skyrim, Bioshock, Mass Effect etc and I really liked the Uncharted series for the PS3, Ratchet and Clank, Resistance, Killzone and waiting for a further drop for The Last Of Us...excellent reviews...its a real shame or sham that none of the downloaded games i bought on xbox can be played on the xbox1...i have so many good ones

almost pulled the trigger on ps4 rather than the xbox1 but like others decided to wait until more games are available/bugs are squashed prices are out and we can see these next gens real potential.
