Price mistake alert.. OfficeMax has the Xerox Phaser 6500/N Color Laser Printer for $50 + $1.29 filler = $51 with free shipping. Features 600dpi printing, 24ppm, 250 sheet capacity, ethernet and usb connections.
$280 Retail: $400
Instead of pens as a filler, all the Sharpie products are BOGO with some cheap offerings as well. Might be of more use to some.
Great Price.. Got one.. tx
Nothing beat Ben's Best!!!. LOL.
Too bad the toner 4-color pack is ~$45. I hate those color laser printers.
Look like a great deal !!! Got myself one too !!!
Just got one, were did Matthew find the 45 dollar toner?
Toner situation sucks on this. OEM or otherwise. They could give these away.
great price! just buy 2
Had one in the cart but before I could get my filler for free shipping it was sold out.
Office Max changed my order, I had purchased it and now the say it was a price mistake they will not honor.
Placed an order everything seem too good to be true processing bla...bla.....than BOOMMM....Sorry your order was cancel for no reason. They just cancel it.
@Rosieshar----I looked at the cost of the cartridges for this printer. The total cost is 5x the cost of the printer. Pass
JPinVA, as it says, this was a price mistake. These printers sell for $400 normally. The cost per page to print with these, even counting your "high toner cost" is about a tenth of what your ink jet costs to print per page. This is still a great printer at $400. $50 was a mistake, just like finding a car for $50 was a mistake. They won't honor it and even if they did, you'd have to pay taxes on the value of it not the price because of the difference.
Full Disclosure: I am a network analyst for a Xerox authorized sales agency.
@bensavedbychrist: Incorrect. you always pay taxes on how much you pay for the item before any rebates. If you paid $50, taxes would be on $50. Simple. You don't pay taxes on "value" or "MSRP" or anything else.
I got it too late! i wish i would see it before the store realized their mistake!!!!
a greater then great price!
JPinVA, if the total cost for color carts is $250 that's cheap for a color laser. I have a behemoth printer where each color costs close to that. The key is to buy something that supports 3rd party bulk toner refills, even if you have to buy a microchip or fuse to revive the same print cartridge(s)... but if you really want low cost per page, you want to stick with a monochrome laser.
@Dave yeah $250 cost of toners is cheap for you or someone, but not me.
My HP color still behaves properly. Besides, it has Wi-Fi
cheapest way to get color copy on demand is your nearest staple or kinko rate ranging in $.50+ if you don't feel like spending an arm or a leg.
^ Uhh, WHAT? Money to drive there, wear and tear on car, my time, and still pay $0.50 a page? I don't pay anywhere near $0.50 a page for color laser printouts.
