Make sure to get a system with atleast 1000TVL, anything less than this is not good :)

This unit looks like it is video only, no audio. In my experience with my own system, this would fall very short for use in surveillance. It is often monitoring audio that has clued me into the shenanigans of my lowlife neighbors.
