    The recently launched Disney Movies Anywhere (DMA) has had this same promotion with iTunes and Google Play.

    The content you purchase from Disney Movies Anywhere can be played on iTunes, Google Play and VUDU interchangeably (as long as the accounts are linked), which is a a major break from how digital content has been handled in the past. It basically means you only have to buy your digital copy once from DMA without having to re-buy it for different platforms.
