FYI: I think if you have used this deal before you can't use it again.
disclaimer: I work for a competitor of yahoo (check the google ads on this page, they're most likely listed), and they're not perfect either, but yahoo is probably one of the worst places to get a domain
While I don't have any personal experience with them, I've heard so many horror stories from customers who've registered their domains through Yahoo. Yahoo is not actually a domain registrar, they use Melborne IT (based in Australia) for the actual domain registrations. I've actually had customers tell me they've had to call long distance to Australia to try and get problems sorted out.
The only good thing I ever hear about them is that they've got a good web-based site builder (my employer does as well). Haven't had a chance to check it out myself, but if that's what's used for yahoo stores like xoxide.com, it can't be half bad.
At least get your domains elsewhere...
How much customer service would you need for a domain name?
I had experience with the yahoo domain and it was bad, you do not have control over much stuff unless you pay more for extended services. etc. you can not fwd your email to other address than the free one with yahoo. I'm with 1&1 now and can't be more happy.
Sounds like a great deal. These guys suck! After a year, they will auto bill you without telling you. Becareful!
