You're jumping to a conclusion of what I wrote... A much more likely scenario will be an transfer error or accounting screw up you will be increasing your exposure to. If it's worth the $25 to you to open the door to your bank account to a company, then more power to you... just try not to spend your $25 all in one place...
I ordered a prepaid card when there was that promotion where in you get $25 when you load $30 or more, they never added that money to my prepaid card, it's been three months.
I did this when they first started the promotion. Since then I have gotten my $200 prepaid card. I have called to confirm that they will do it. I still have time to wait but until then I took some screen captures of the promotion so that I can quote them on their offer if time takes too long. I do agree with zzyzx. It does open your information to possible risk in case they get hacked. This is the reason that I didn't take advantage of the open up a checking account and we will give you free money with some of the banks in the area but I already had an account with American Express and I check my accounts very often. I advise everyone to do the same.
