#2, I continue to make tax-free purchases from Amazon.
Buy from Amazon while you can, they plan on putting distribution centers all over the place for tax breaks and cheaper shipping rates for themselves, then charging sales tax in those states.
It's not just Amazon. It's the Marketplace Fairness Act, http://www.marketplacefairness.org/ . The tax holiday will be over soon for many. Some states require voluntary tax payment for end users but it is not widely enforced.
It's really going to be a paperwork nightmare for resellers having to register with every online seller as a reseller especially with all these online marketplaces like on Amazon, Rakuten, eBay, etc. Interested to see how it's all going to work.
