One thing is for sure, Harbor Freight may not be the best quality but it will always be better than any Crapsman tool.

#2, you must be new to BensBargains. Welcome stranger! Smile

BTW, I agree with #1. My experience with Sears customer service has been terrible.

There are some good articles at Harbor Freight and there some bad ones. Enter the store with an open mind like you enter any other store including Sears...

I have to agree with Davc I've never had an issue with Craftsman hand tools, and I used to wrench on cars for a living. Even Craftsman power tools have been good to me. I have a circular saw my father gave me in the mid-80's and it's still going strong. I'm also a fan of the 19.2v LI DieHard cordless series.

If I need a set of bungee-cords, or a cheap drill bit set, I'll go to Harbor Freight.

Some of the HF drill bits made in politicians are even worse than their hand tools, some of the worst bits I've ever seen. They weren't in an indexed or plastic box though, at least the ones I made the mistake of buying were, they were in a white cardboard pouch.
