Netflix continues to offer a one month free trial (usually a 2-week offer). Receive DVDs by mail and watch instantly online or on TV, which is great for catching up on TV shows. Trial can be cancelled at any time.

I use to get a cracked disc ever 2-3 months. Lately it's becoming more frequent. It's not so much Netflix as it's the postal service being too rough on them so there's not much that can be done. I don't mind too much they send out a replacement quickly and I'm mainly using the Watch Now stuff anyways.

I think this proves the site has sold out. But we regulars have already known this.

The US postal service likes to play frisbee with the DVD's, no biggie. They need something to do right?

Netflix wants to get out of the DVD mailing business and move the customers to streaming. They have actually reduced their selection recently and some of the new releases (ex. the latest MST3K episodes) are streaming only. Netflix is about to lose a customer.

Netflix's streaming business model is sound.

Their streaming is on its way out if they don't upgrade their servers. I constantly get bandwidth interruptions while watching shows. I used to regular get e-mails telling me they were aware of the problem and offered me a 1% credit. But so what? It has gotten progressively worse since the popularity has grown. That coupled with the fact that a few of my fav shows have been removed after only being available for a short time.
