Living Social has a 1-Year Sam's Club Membership bundled with a $20 Sam's Club gift card and $20 in food service vouchers for $45. Valid for new memberships only; you'll get a voucher that can be redeemed at your local Sam's Club location after 3/7. Basic memberships normally cost $40 on their own. Here's their store locator.

What a business model ... you have to pay them to spend money in their store!
    No thanks.

Well look at the bright side of this offer, #1. It helps reduce your exposure from the People of Walmart types that are too cheap to spend money for a membership store version of Walmart. If spending a net total of 5 bucks isn't worth it solely for the benefit for reducing the number of shoppers with screaming babies and fatsos blocking the narrow aisles inside of a standard Walmart store that you have to deal with, Walmart still carries a lot of the stuff Sam's Club does...

I can handle $40, now $105 (Costco) uhhh no. I don't spend enough in a year with an Executive Membership to recoup that $105 with the yearly Costco check.

So don't get the executive membership get the regular one, that statement makes no sense. And at RakuRay, these companies lose money on item sales because of how cheap they sell things, they only profit off membership. So you should be saying thanks for allowing me to save this much money.

    That group includes RakuRay.

@btc909 - I downgraded my Executive to standard this year for that exact reason. Downgrade.

I'm in for one, looks like a good way to try it out for a year.

Gas alone makes this worth it. Sams is generally .10 to .15 cheaper per gallon than the local gas stations. I fill up once a week with a 13 and a half gallon tank. Milk is also almost a dollar a gallon cheaper. I bought a microwave oven there that cost $86.00. The same microwave was $110 everywhere else.
