I did some research on this company and found very mixed reviews. Most people say that they ordered several magazines through them and were lucky if they even got 1 out of the 4. So I think I'm gonna pass even though it is a great deal for a normally expensive magazine. Keep up the good work finding these awesome deals. I have bought ton's of other things because of the deals I find here.

I am wondering if these cheap magazine subscription websites sell off your address and info to junk mailers to make up for the cost of subsriptions. I have asked this before, but have recieved no response..

At the risk of sounding that I work for the company I can only say that I have been ordering magazines (mostly related to computers and gaming) for many years from Best Deal Magazines and have never been let down. It sometimes takes several months to receive the first issue ordered which is probably why customers complain. I think that this is the fault of the magazine publisher but have no definite proof. Never had a problem with junk mailers either. IMHO it's a small risk to take and worth ordering a good magazine like MaxPC for less than a large Frap at Starbucks.

I have order several mags from them also -- like toby says it usually takes several months before you receive your 1st issue, but I did not notice any increase in junk mail. I did check this link and the price is $4.69 not $3.99.

I've had the same experience as Toby and tcb...

Go for it (can't beat the prices), but expect to have to grab the first few current issues off the rack while you wait for the subscription to finally start.

Some publishers wait for the news stand returns to send out the cheap subscriptions. That is why it takes so long and why you get the issues late. Also if you do not get the issue call the publisher they will send you another one or extend the subscription by a month.

I have ordered from them for years and works great. No spam increase either.
