#1 - Very good tip! However, when I looked for this specific magazine it was more like $4.75 per year. However, for other magazines this will be an excellent trick to remember.

I didnt see that price on fleabay for 4 years...more like over $11 for 3 years.

Considering this offer..is it legit? will I be charged any more money? what happens when the subscription is over, do they auto sign you up?

#3, anytime you're concerned about auto-renewal, use a CC that let's you generate a one-time virtual CC # w/ amount limit and expiration of your choice. They're great. Never have to worry about getting ripped off beyond the initial purchase price.

I've added a year's subscription to Max PC everytime this deal has come around. It really is only $3.40, and I'm getting the magazine until about 2012 right now.

Last I checked, most (perhaps all) of these issues are available for download (pdf) from their website. Might trail current release by a month or two, so I suppose this could be a reason to subscribe. And some like the convenience of paper. But if you prefer/can tolerate reading online, no need to spend anything at all!

I used to have a subscription to this mag usually cost $12 for a year's worth. Not a bad toilet read.

Good mag, current subscriber, renewed! I have gotten mags from BDM and had no probs or additional or auto charges. Ebay? Mags? I don't know if that is a good idea. This is the price of a beer for years worth of information and entertainment. A beer entertains me for 5 min then I want another. Yes you can prob get past issues for free on line but if you want things like this to stay around you shouldn't be such a cheap bastard and kick in. It's already way less than standard subscription rate.
