Do ***NOT*** use Globat for hosting. I was harassed for 6 months by "collections agency" asking for 400% of the annual fee because they failed to process my cancellation. They are notorious for having hidden renewal clauses that aren't even legal in most states.
Don't believe me, just google "globat collections agency".

Yes, a lot of bad reviews. No thank you, I'll pass. Not worth going to collections and messing up my credit if they fail to process/validate the cancelation, and don't want to get stuck with the non refundable domain fee.
The google results on globat are numerous and somewhat damning. I've had pretty good experiences with godaddy so far, though. Not really an expert on providers though.

clearly this company sucks. it's kinda like a TD deal around here -- whenever it comes up there will be a page of rants.
ive heard a lot that they suck.. awhile back i paid $20 for a setup fee for the t03 package.. and i still have it.. i got it 11/05.. almost over. i paid thru paypal.. like 2 hours after i paid they called to confirm.. and i had it.. i havent had a problem at all. server is always up.. downloads at around 800 kb/s from chicago via comcast.. pretty amazing if you just want space.. i could never use 75 gb of space.. let alone 4.7 TB of bandwidth! hah.
Because you called us all a bad name, why dont you get dressed up #9 and go watch your Star Trek. And you did not leave any clue that you were joking.
