    They may be thinner than paper, but they're absolutely bombproof when you need them, either in an emergency situation or camping in the winter. Which I'm sure probably about .5% of you people do (My wife and I love it. very exhilarating)

    Very fast shipper, received mine already from last time this deal was posted. They are as expected except 52" x 84" dimensions, not the 64x74 Amazon lists.

    Very small zip lock bags these are in, don't expect to get them back in the bag after you unfold them, unless willing to put forth more than 80 cents worth of effort.

    Yes they are very thin. From a distance they look completely opaque but if held over your eyes in a reasonably bright room you can see through them enough to make out the room contents.

    Does this mylar foil on this blanket have enough electrical deflection properties to scatter the US Government's brain scanning energy rays? I could use this in emergency if I'm caught out in the open when the Government starts its chem trail experiments on us...
